About Audrey Pouligny, Employment Lawyer
About me
I have been practising as a lawyer since 2009, in employment and social security law (in particular workplace injury and occupational disease).
As a French-American dual citizen, I am able to support my clients in both French and English, with a deep understanding of how international workplaces operate.
My legal training began at Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas, where I earned a Maîtrise (the equivalent of a four-year law degree under the former French system) in employment and social security law. I went on to complete a Master Professionnel in International Mobility at Université Lumière Lyon II, and a Certificate in Common Law and Comparative Law at Université Paris V Descartes.
I began my career at the Paris Bar, working with an international clientele on a wide range of employment law and HR issues. That experience shaped an approach to employment relations that is both technically sound and grounded in real-world practice.
From working in the United States to standing exclusively with employees
I have also worked in the United States, where I gained additional experience across various areas of law and developed a deeper understanding of how Anglo-American legal and professional environments work.
In parallel with my legal practice, I have built up a legal translation activity in French and English, working both for my own clients and for fellow lawyers. I have also been called upon to step in during meetings, interviews, negotiations, and mediations, to help the parties communicate in both English and French.
Today, I practise at the Nantes Bar, and I have chosen to focus my work exclusively on defending and supporting employees. That choice shapes everything I do. I stand by my clients, often at moments that turn out to be pivotal in their working lives.
A personal and strategic approach
Behind every case, I know there is a person, a situation that matters to them, real worries, and sometimes the painful feeling of being treated unfairly or left alone.
My role is to give you a clear framework, focused advice, and dependable support, so that you can move forward and make decisions with confidence.
I take the time to really listen, to understand where you stand, and to shape a strategy with you that matches what you are trying to achieve.
My goal is simple: to help you find your way out of a difficult situation and take back control of your working life.
